If there is a possibility of accepting a counter offer of more money, have a conversation with your line manager and ask for a payrise/development plan as this may save you a lot of trouble in finding a new role. Not surprising, 80% of candidates who accept a counter offer end up leaving the organisation within 6 months. 50% of candidates who resign will receive a counter offer so definitely worth bearing the above in mind and if you know what is truly motivating you – your search for a new role will then be genuine”
