Fixed Term Contract – 3-6 months
I am currently recruiting for an Accounts Assistant to join an impressive business in Denbighshire. Working alongside the Head of Finance you will cover all aspects of purchase ledger and ad hoc support to the wider finance team. This role has the potential to become permanent.
Duties will include:
- Code up purchase ledger invoices and post to the ledger
- Allocate bank payments to the purchase ledger
- Reconcile supplier statements
- Help prepare the supplier payment runs
- File the purchase ledger invoices
- Chase up owners for payment
- Prepare the Owner’s quarterly utility bills and post to the ledger
- Allocate customer payments to the ledger
- Assist the Management Accountant with Balance Sheet reconciliations
- Post general ledger journals and other bank account transactions
- Assist the Management Accountant prepare the management report
- Assist the Management Accountant post the stock movement
- Ad hoc reporting as required from the Head of Finance
Qualifications & Experience:
- AAT/early stages or equivalent/QBE
- Strong Excel skills
- Demonstrable experience in a previous role
