Payroll Officer

I am currently recruiting for my client who are based in Deeside, who are looking for an experienced payroll officer to join the payroll team. There may be occasional travel to other sites that are local. The successful candidate will have previous payroll experience and will have worked with different systems and helped to streamline processes.

Providing a comprehensive, efficient and professional Payroll service to the business including administration of the in-house payrolls, integration of T&A systems of all sites as well as developing SAGE to work to its’ full potential

Main Duties

  • Provide a full payroll service for the business including all internal and outsourced payrolls.
  • Responsible for running both weekly and monthly in-house payrolls including statutory reporting, management reporting and pensions liaison.
  • Liaise with outsourced payroll providers to ensure an accurate and efficient payroll service is provided.
  • Work with the HR team and operations managers to ensure that agency timesheets are processed in an accurate and timely manner and invoices authorised swiftly.
  • Work with the HR team to streamline the organisations payrolls where possible
  • Automate the payroll process across all sites
  • Analyse and integrate T&A systems across the sites (currently different systems)
  • Provide timely and accurate month end reporting for key stakeholders including the Head of HR and the Finance team.
  • Work with the HR Team on Absence Management and reporting
  • Responsible for food safety
  • Demonstrate alignment with the company’s core values

Previous experience Desirable
