Payroll Manager

I am currently recruiting for a Payroll Manager to join a successful and rapidly expanding  accountancy practice. Responsibilities and duties include:

  • Monthly / weekly processing of staff wages for clients (20 weekly, 60 monthly clients)
  • Maintain payroll records on payroll software (Xero, BrightPay, etc.)
  • Ensure processes and procedures follow current regulations
  • Ensure accuracy of all payroll records and wage inputs
  • Respond to and resolve queries from clients relating to payroll
  • Calculate wages and deductions
  • Maintain and submit pension contributions
  • Liaison with HMRC (including production of P32 reports for all clients,
  • Develop the payroll function to ensure it continues to meet client’s needs

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Demonstrable high-volume payroll experience
  • Advanced in using IT, Office and Payroll software
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy
  • Adapatable
  • Good time-management


  • £22-24k DOE
  • 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
  • Free parking
