Payroll Administrator/Manager (Part-time)

I am currently recruiting for a Payroll Administrator/Manager to join an established and successful practice on The Wirral. This is a part time role of 15-20 hours.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Monthly / weekly / fortnightly processing of staff wages for clients (15-20 clients)
  • Maintain payroll records on payroll software (Moneysoft, BrightPay)
  • Ensure processes and procedures follow current regulations
  • Ensure accuracy of all payroll records and wage inputs
  • Respond to and resolve queries from clients relating to payroll
  • Calculate wages and deductions
  • Maintain and submit pension contributions
  • Liaison with HMRC – including production of EPS, FPS, P60, P45 reports for all clients,
  • Develop the payroll function to ensure it continues to meet client’s needs

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Demonstrable payroll experience
  • Advanced in using IT, Office and Payroll software
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy
  • Adaptable
  • Good time-management


  • P/T, 15-20 hours/week
  • Flexible hours
  • 23k FTE + bonus
  • Hybrid (combined remote/office) working possible
  • 20 days holiday plus bank holidays (pro-rata)
