Heyland Recruitment are working alongside this market leading supplier and distributors of specialist products as they look to recruit a Part Qualified Management Accountant to join their finance team at their head office in Haydock. With a turnover of over £70m and an ambitious growth strategy this role is highly suited to an individual with a strong work ethic and a desire to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment.

Reporting to the Financial Controller you will be responsible for the following:

• Preparation of Monthly Management Accounts
• Group Reporting and Year End Accounting
• Support with budget preparation
• Fixed asset register maintenance – updating for additions/disposals
• Generating monthly margin report including investigation of variances to budget
• Investigating and explaining overhead spend variances to budget
• Generating draft month end PL/balance sheet/Cashflow – sign off by Controller to
• Bank Reconciliations
• Balance Sheet Reconciliations
• Accruals & Prepayments and journal posting
• Expense Analysis
