Learning & Development Business Partner
Learning & Development Business Partner, Warrington, Permanent, £45,000 – £60,000 DOE plus excellent benefits.
Our client is a leading and growing organisation with an enviable brand and reputation. Due to continued growth and success, they are now looking for a creative and ambitious Learning & Development Business Partner to focus on their Early Careers programmes.
Reporting in to the Head of L&D and forming part of the wider HR Team, as L&D Business Partner you will work in a fast-paced, commercial environment supporting in the delivery of the Early Careers Programmes across the business.
Some key duties will include:
- Being an internal ambassador of early careers programmes, sharing knowledge, promoting opportunities and responding to queries in relation to the development programmes.
- Contributing to the planning and delivery of both face to face and online learning events including the creation of supporting materials and documentation.
- Maintaining regular contact with programme members ensuring they feel fully supported by both the early careers team and their mentor.
- Maintaining records related to the delivery of the development programme including attendance, training records and feedback.
The ideal candidate will have proven L&D experience within a matrix, commercial organisation specialising in early career development. Essentially you will have a good understanding of the employee lifecycle and a HR/L&D background. You will have excellent time management and be highly organised. You will have proven experience in building rapport, gaining credibility, building trust and working in partnership with cross functional teams to proactively deliver upon commitments and expectations.
Additionally you will have confidence in dealing with a variety of stakeholders from entry-level role employees to senior colleagues. An excellent communicator (both verbal and written); you will be able to influence and engage with people and be comfortable with presenting ideas and views, able to constructively challenge, probe and offer an alternative perspective in discussions. A team player; you will demonstrate a proven ability to work within real and virtual teams.
You will be confident presenting and public speaking to large audiences both online and in person. You will be results driven; proactive, accountable, responsible for delivery with a strong client orientation and be resilient, self-motivated and able to remain calm under pressure when working to deadlines. You will be passionate about developing emerging talent.
