Financial Controller – Interim: £300.00 day

We are pleased to be working with this global business who are a trusted partner of several significant high profile businesses across the UK and further afield.  The Finance Director is seeking some interim support from a suitably Qualfiied individual who can add value to the accounts team & take ownership on a few key projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead Group and Business Unit monthly financial reporting
  • Co-ordinate cash management across the business unit, including
  • Preparation of 3 month cash forecasts
  • Trade Creditors & Employee Expenses payment approvals
  • Consolidate / lead on rolling monthly / quarterly forecasts
  • Process / system improvements including
  • Roll out of new system and processes (e.g. automated expenses)
  • Refresh of Delegated Financial Authorities
  • Oversite of Credit Control / Days Sales Outstanding
  • Perform ad hoc duties as requested

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:

  • Broad knowledge of accounting practices and principles including revenue recognition
  • Costpoint / Hyperion experience helpful but not essential
  • Self starter able to work with minimal supervision

Education:

  • Qualified Accountant (e.g. CIMA, ACCA, ACA)
