I am currently recruiting for a Finance Manager to join a successful and growing SME business in the Wrexham area. Due to expansion and internal promotion your role will be all-encompassing as a key member of the team:


  • Day to day running of the company accounts
  • Preparation of monthly management accounts and other internal management information
  • Advising the management team on financial performance and identifying areas for improvement
  • Cashflow and forecasting
  • Manage Purchase and Sales Ledger
  • Manage fixed asset register
  • Preparation of quarterly VAT Return and submit to HMRC
  • Preparation of monthly payroll
  • Manage stock at month end and complete sales analysis
  • Manage company credit cards and expenditure
  • General office management duties


Qualifications and Experience

  • Organised, self sufficient and able to work autonomously with accuracy
  • Experience of working in a finance department and obtained all-round skills for all areas covering management accounts, sales and purchase ledger
  • Good Microsoft Office skills, including Excel
  • Systems-savvy (ERP experience would be beneficial
  • AAT studier/AAT qualified/QBE/early stages CIMA/ACCA
