Finance Assistant
I am currently recruiting for my client who are based Ellesmere Port. They are looking to bring on board a part time finance assistant. Exciting times ahead for this business, with growth plans and investment following successful acquisition. The role would suit someone who has experience in a similar role, looking for reduced hours and local to Ellesmere Port.
Duties
- Processing Purchase Ledger Invoices and Credit Notes
- Data Entry
- Processing Staff Expenses – cash and credit card
- Obtaining approval of invoices and credit notes
- Electronic and Paper Filing
- Reconciling the purchase ledger at month end
- Reconcile customer statements – chasing payments
- Adhoc support to wider finance department and business
Skills/Qualities
- Must be enthusiastic and punctual, with a hands-on approach
- Team-player, comfortable with communicating at various levels within an organisation
- Computer literate with a good understanding of excel
- Accuracy and attention to detail essential
- Strong organisational skills
- Experience with SAP system beneficial but not essential
- Manufacturing industry experience preferable but not essential
Benefits/Further
- Part Time – 20 Hour a week – Salary £18-20k pro rata (depending on experience)
- 10am-2pm Monday to Friday
