Bid Manager: £45,000 – £50,000

Heyland Recruitment are currently working with this global multifaceted services business as they look to recruit an experienced Bid Manager to join their busy Commercial Services Team helping to coordinate and deliver a range of tender/bid activities across the globe.

You will deliver activities that lead the coordinating of technical teams to support the company in demonstrating good responses and accurately reflecting their offering to the clients in proposals/submissions for all bid/tenders/framework submissions. You will support the bid team at all stages of the process from opportunity assessment through to submission.

You will be an independent thinker, able to organise your own time, and pro-active to achieve goals and deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the Technical Teams through the Tender/Bid/Framework process to enable them to develop the provision of market leading bid and tender documents
    tailored to the values and requirements of the customer.
  • Completing a Proposal Preparation Plan for high level tenders so that all information is in one place, ready for everyone to access.
  • Support the drafting and reviewing of documents and collateral, such as cover letters, team and CV information and firm experience.
  • Finalise the company information needed for the submission of tenders.
    Support final preparation of technical proposals, including formatting, sourcing graphics etc.
  • Ensuring adherence with law by seeking advice when you think appropriate (e.g. copyright and data protection).
  • Support the Tender Information Manager in checking of tender notices when required to ensure we find relevant opportunities for the company and ensure
    these are effectively communicated.
  • Support the Tender Information Manager in providing answers to boiler plate questions to enable the other members of the team to concentrate on other elements of a tender.
  • Implement, review, and adapt the tenders and bids strategy.
  • Assist the commercial services team wherever possible with ad-hoc tasks and any other general administration.


  • Past experience in a bid manager role and proven track
