Accounts & Office Manager

I am currently recruiting for a Finance and Office Manager to join a growing independent business in Wrexham. You will be responsible for the day to day running of the finance function as well as administration and office management.

Duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Day to Day Bookkeeping to trial balance
  • Monthly accounts and end of month journals
  • Purchase ledger, sales ledger and credit control
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Ledger reconciliations
  • Cashflow
  • Monthly payroll and HMRC PAYE submissions using Pegasus, CIS and Opera
  • HMRC PAYE submissions
  • Employee expenses
  • Stock checks and adjustments
  • End of year accounts preparation for accountants
  • VAT calculations
  • Negotiation of contracts (insurance/phones/vehicles/utilities
  • General administration and ad hoc duties as required

Skills & Experience:

  • Demonstrable experience in a previous similar role
  • Pegasus: CIS & Opera 3 experience (advantageous)
  • AAT Qualified or similar/QBE will be considered
  • Systems/IT-savvy
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
