Accounts Assistant – Temporary

I am recruiting an Accounts Assistant to complete a 3 month contract with a successful business based in Ellesmere Port. Reporting to the Financial Controller you will be responsible for supporting the finance team with day to day transactions, monthly reports and any other ad hoc projects as required.  This role is offering a hybrid of office and home based work.

Duties include:

  • Sales, Purchase and Nominal ledgers.
  • Bank reconciliations.
  • Cashflow management and forecasting in conjunction with the Finance Manager.
  • Preparation of monthly accruals and prepayments.
  • Assistance with KPI reporting and analysis as required.
  • Ad hoc duties as required

Skill sets required:

  • Use of accounting systems and ledgers.

Strong Excel skills.

You will need to have experience in the above areas and be able to start work on minimal notice.
