I am currently recruiting for an Accounts Assistant to join a very successful and growing business in Welshpool. As part of a dynamic finance team you will play a key role in supporting the Finance Director in all aspects of day to day finance. On the back of significant growth you will be joining the business at a great time with interesting and diverse projects planned.

Responsibilities and duties:

  • Purchase and Sales Ledger administration and maintenance
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Journals
  • Assisting in month and year end duties
  • Prepping VAT returns
  • Ad hoc reports

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Previous accounts experience in a purchase ledger function is essential
  • IT literate in Microsoft packages such as Word, Outlook and Excel
  • A confident communicator by phone and email
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Able to work to deadlines
  • An effective problem solver
  • Previous experience on Sage Line 50/200 is an advantage
  • AAT/book keeping qualification is an advantage
