Reporting in to the Group HR Director, you will be leading a capable and well respected team and will be responsible for supporting the rise of talent within the UK businesses through internal development and external hires and deploying a succession process. A newly created role, both recruitment and retention will be improved as well as raising brand awareness both internally and externally. As Head of Talent, you will introduce new methodologies for assessing capability; both the promotion and performance processes are intricate cycles so an exceptional and demonstrable experience of talent management for a large cohort will stand you in good stead. You will be passionate about building a performance culture where each employee has clear expectations of what they need to do to contribute to the success of the business. Working in collaboration with the Group HR Director, you will transform the role of the HR function to become more of a strategic, value add partner across all areas of the business.


The entire HR team work very closely together so an ability to communicate with others is key. Additionally you will have a supportive and warm leadership style that empowers individuals to give them confidence to take ownership of decisions. Innovative in your approach, you will be happy to explore multiple possibilities, generating ideas and developing strategies through anticipating trends and envisaging the future. Our client is going through some positive change so you can’t be afraid to challenge ideas and come up with new initiatives. Your drive for success, meticulous eye for detail and analytical approach will allow you to gain credibility behind ideas and deliver results through structured and well organised projects.


Essentially you will be Level 7 CIPD qualified with a strong generalist background. Solid experience of Organisational Development, Talent Management, Resourcing, Performance Management, Reward and Benefits is essential. An inspiring mentor and coach you will have the ability to lead projects and achieve objectives.
