Our client has a urgent need to replace one of their permanent team members within the transactional team.

The business has re-established themselves locally approximately 3 years ago and now is part of a wider group. They have three locations and this role sits within the Head Office.

As a Accounts Receivable Administrator you will conduct the below tasks and have some of the qualities to transfer with little support.

 

 

The day to day duties:

  • Ensure effective credit control by setting up terms and conditions, dealing with internal queries about payments, processing, and reconciliation of invoices, checking and posting of receipts to accounting systems, ensuring timely payments are made.
  • Taking a proactive role in managing and collecting debts of company debtors by evaluating new credit requests, advising credit limits, checking credit ratings, deciding whether to allow credit to a debtor, processing incoming funds, resolving account queries and managing debt recovery
  • Ensures accurate financial information to the Management Accountant through timely filing of invoices, reconciliation of supplier statements, cash and bank reconciliations and input of data into the company IT systems.
  • Develops and maintains strong customer relationships by preparing statements, client status reports, and all relevant information as required and dealing with inquiries in a professional manner.
  • Maintains exceptional standards of work and puts safety first by exceptional standards of work through understanding and following company quality, safety, health, and environmental policies and procedure and training; complying with safe systems of work, reporting near misses.

 

Qualities needed:

  • Experience in a customer-facing role
  • A positive and determined approach to researching and analysing new business opportunities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Self-motivated with the capability of working independently.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
