Excellent opportunity for a qualified Senior Management Accountant / Finance Manager to develop their career within a large, highly successful international service business based at their impressive offices in the Warrington area.  Reporting into the UK Financial Controller and managing a small team, the Finance Manager will take full ownership of reporting for specified entities, working closely with finance and local teams to drive process improvements.


Key responsibilities:

  • Ownership of management reporting for specified entities and explanations of variances to budget/forecast/prior months
  • Working closely with the UK Financial Controller
  • Working closely with the Regional Commercial Controller
  • Review and analysis of balance sheet
  • Oversee the monthly margin review process
  • Building relationships internal and external
  • Taking a lead on implementing improvements to financial procedures and controls
  • Coaching junior members of the team
  • Support region in budgeting, forecasting
  • Monthly cashflow forecasting
  • Work with Group Reporting team and Tax Manger to ensure compliance with local financial reporting and tax requirements
  • Adhoc project work as required and to support development


The ideal candidate will be a fully qualified ACA, ACCA, CIMA Accountant, ideally with a strong technical background in financial and management accounting.  You will have a basic understanding of working in different time zones and possess the competence and drive to review, understand and improve existing processes.
