Assistant HR Advisor, St Asaph, 12 month FTC, up to £26,000 plus excellent benefits .


I’m currently supporting a business in St Asaph who are looking for an Assistant HR Advisor to join their team on a 12 month Fixed Term Contract.


Reporting into the HR Manager and forming part of the wider HR team, as Assistant HR Advisor you will support the HR initiative across the whole business; with a particular emphasis on managing the recruitment process from start to finish as well as supporting with administration covering the entire employment lifecycle and supporting with Employee Relations case work.  


Duties will include:

  • Competent administration and first line advisory support for c250 employees
  • Providing competent advice on a range of HR policies and procedures
  • Proactively empower and develop management capability in dealing with HR matters
  • HR monitoring and KPI reporting
  • Preparation of monthly payroll
  • Managing all recruitment activity


Essentially you will have previous experience in a generalist HR role, ideally with a focus on recruitment and be studying towards CIPD as a minimum. You will have worked in a fast paced environment, able to react quickly to stakeholders and prioritise where needed. Good MS Office skills are essential coupled with being results orientated with a desire to improve and develop. You will have excellent communication and influencing skills, be a good team player and be methodical in your approach with an eye for detail.
