Ledger Clerk

Maximum Salary: £21,000.00

I am currently recruiting for my nationally recognised client based in Bromborough, due to growth of the business there is a need to recruit a Ledger Clerk to support the Finance team. The successful candidate will report into the Finance Director and support the Finance and Procurement departments.


Main Roles and Responsibilities

  • Inputting Purchase invoices
  • Matching GRN to PO
  • Reconciling and inputting Credit Card statement
  • Balancing and maintaining purchase ledger – owning the ledger
  • Raising Maintenance sales applications and invoices
  • Ensuring all contracts are billed each month
  • Assisting with payroll
  • Matching of purchase invoices to PODs
  • Approving and checking of invoices by matching to existing orders on the system that are raised by procurement (No responsibility / authority to raise orders, or amend them)

  • Microsoft experience; in particular Excel
