Junior Data Analyst

I am currently recruiting for my well established client based in Crewe, there is a need to bring on a Junior Data Analyst due to growth. Sitting within the Analytics team this role will offer good experience in supporting, maintaining and developing data.

 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Support production of weekly volume data – combine multiple data sources to create a consolidated data set showing volume by customer by day for use across the business
  • Support maintenance of key customer attribute information – e.g. customer category and segment, trading status, card information, trading profile
  • Administer and track sales agent portfolios – allocation of customers to appropriate sales agents throughout the customer lifecycle
  • Support production of weekly Sales KPI pack showing all aspects of sales performance for each sales agent
  • Data extraction, preparation and cleansing
  • Supporting in the production and presentation of internal analysis
  • Ownership, upkeep and analysis of internal databases
  • Other administrative duties related to the data and reporting production as required
  • Identifying anomalies in data and correcting
  • Ensuring other teams are minimally impacted by data discrepancies
  • Managing query resolution
  • Providing weekly reports for the wider business
  • Production of detailed process mapping and supporting documentation
  • Compliance with company and industry standards and policies; Data Protection, Financial Crime and Complaints Procedure

 

Experience and Skills Required

  • Experience working with Access Data bases is critical
  • Experience of working within a team of analysts preferable
  • Excellent administrative and organizational skills
  • Keen interest in manipulating and mining large data sets
  • Knowledge of query languages such as SQL is preferable
  • Ability to think critically in a fast paced environment
  • Would suit a recent graduate or an experienced administrator looking to grow their skill set
